SSCC are proud to be Hosting Round 2 of the Southern Region Interclub series.WE will be running this as part of our short track series, Rounds 11 and 12FORMAT
We will be running two races for each category during the afternoon
You are free to drop a race if needed or run both for the most short track fun.
Our Short Track is 95% fast tight single tracks with a lap taking between 2-3min. Races are mass start with a maximum of 20 riders per grade.
Each Category will run two races
Juniors - U/7, U/9, U/11, U/13 boys and girls ride a 2 - 5 lap race depending on age.
Seniors - A, B & C Grades, A and B Grade women, U15 men and women - a combined mass start 20-minute timed race.
Don't be fooled by the race distance. The intensity of this style of racing leaves nothing in the tank.
Unfortunately we have decided not to run an E bike category this year as it proved a little hairy last time wth the tight track and large numbers. We love all bikes and riders and apologies any inconvenience.
We have also decided to drop the balance bike category for the moment due to lack of numbers but will happily let them run-in the under 7's with adult assistance on their laps.
COST OF ENTRIES
*Juniors $5 for both. *U13 $5 for both *U15 and Seniors $20 for both, family all races $40.
Anyone wanting to participate must have a current AusCycling off-road race or full race licence.
Podiums
Places are based on results taken from race one and presented with podiums at the end of race two.
Results can be found on myraceresults post event and club points will be awarded for each race.
Racing starts from 2:00pm for juniors. Rego open from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
