About this Event
Our interactive online event is getting downloaded into the conrete world of death and taxes.
This is a film appreciatioin gathering that you can attend for FREE as long as you do one important thing, BRING A SHORT FILM (15 min. or less). It does not have to be one you made. You can find one on Youtube or Vimeo or Short of The Week or bring a digital file. We don't care where you get it, we just want to see all the cool short films we can. Bring a short you love, that says something about the kind of cinema you love. This is a chance to express yourself via other people's work OR YOUR OWN. You can also bring one of your own shorts to share and get the experience of an audience's reaction to your film.
If you do not wish to bring a film, you are still welcome to pay the $5 Short Film Watcher (or lurker) fee. and enjoy the shorts with us!
There will surely be a wide variety of films, new and old, experimental and narrative, like a delicious potluck for hungry cinephiles.
It's like a film society meets an open screening meets a film forum.
And guess what, you get to be around other people who are just as nerdy as you.
