About this Event
Join the City of Winter Park's Lakes Division on March 14th for a shoreline restoration project at Lake Spier! The meeting address is 1841 Lake Spier Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789.
We will pull invasive plant species, like alligator W**d and torpedo grass, and plant native species, such as pickerelweed, duck potato, and canna.
Please come prepared to get muddy and wet. Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately. If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian will need to be present in the beginning to sign a minor waiver (or you may request a minor waiver before the event). Anyone under 12 years old who wants to participate will need a parent or guardian present for the whole event.
We will provide the necessary materials, tools and a water cooler, so please bring a reusable water bottle.
