About this Event
The Shoreline Piano Trio (Menghua Lin, piano; Sue-mi Shin, violin; and Katie Youn, cello) presents "Intimacy, Brilliance, and Vibrance: Piano Trios Across Time," a celebration of the piano’s expressive range through three distinctive voices.
Mozart’s Piano Trio in B-flat Major, K. 502, sparkles with classical grace and conversational charm, while Gabriela Lena Frank’s folk songs for piano trio draw on the vibrant rhythms and colors of Latin American traditions. Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in C Minor, Op. 66 concludes the program with passionate romantic lyricism and virtuosic brilliance, highlighting the timeless vitality of the piano trio form.
