The Shore-based Transition Assistance and Reintegration Readiness Program (STARR) is a local initiative that provides personalized services offered via San Diego Veteran Coalition (SDVC) member organizations. The primary objective is to assist non-deployable active-duty personnel in smoothly transitioning from military to civilian life.
The STARR Program has been meticulously crafted to provide personalized assistance and guidance to every participant guaranteeing a smooth transition back into civilian society. The STARR timeline and sequence of services delineate the various stages encompassed in this process all of which are delivered through SDVC's comprehensive community services network.
