Over the last few months we have worked hard to making The Crafters Emporium Bicester back to what it was. Unfortunately, the current business model is no longer sustainable, and this has had an impact on our talented crafters through no fault of their own.As directors, we take full responsibility for the current situation. We know people feel let down, and we sincerely hope we can begin to repair some of that trust moving forward.
Rather than give up, we want to come together openly and honestly to discuss the future of The Crafters Emporium Bicester and explore what comes next for our community.
We would like to invite all small businesses, antique dealers, supporters, customers, and anyone who believes in supporting local creativity to attend a formal meeting where we can share ideas, discuss possible changes, and help shape the future together.
The meeting will include discussion around the current position of The Crafters Emporium and the possibility of a new cooperative-style structure moving forward. We are open to all ideas and opportunities, and following discussions with our landlord, we have approval to explore a new business plan.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 26th May at 4:30pm at the Bicester shop and is expected to last approximately 2 hours.
Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and belief in what we’ve built together.
We truly appreciate everyone taking the time to read this.
If you have any questions, please contact us at: [email protected]. We ask that if you are interested in attending the meeting that you let us know by email for numbers and presentation sake.
Thank you kindly,
Charlotte and Natasha
