Derailleurs and shifting can be mysterious to riders! On July 15th, we will be helping you to better understand how they work and how to fix them. The clinic will be held from 6 - 8 PM at Boise Bicycle Project. Clinics are free for BBP members and $10 a clinic for non-members.We will be talking about and demonstrating how to address common issues that arise with rear and front derailleurs. We will also be discussing the steps for setting up new derailleurs, cable and housing, and chains.
Clinics are structured as a lecture and demonstration so you do not need to bring your own bike because we will not be working on it. Instead, we will be covering how to do the repairs and encouraging you to sign up for a time to come to our shop and practice the skills you learned during the clinic!
