Your Ace Makerspace Woodworking and Metalworking experience starts here! First, get up to speed on shop etiquette and learn the ins and outs of sharing tools and space at Ace Makerspace. This one hour certification class is required for ALL Wood and Metal Shop users.

Certification: Ace Shop Basics (required to use the Ace Shops)

What to bring: A notebook or well-charged phone for taking notes.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes, short sleeves, and work clothes. Long hair must be tied back.
Safety Gear: Eye protection, ear protection, and all the hand sanitizer will be provided. You can also bring your own.
Scholarships: Scholarships are only available after 8 spots have been filled. The scholarship for this class is funded primarily by a small amount added to other student fees. If you need a scholarship for this class, please submit this request form. You may be notified as little as 24 hours before the event, depending on event sales.
