Thom Vollenweider has worked as a contributing photographer to several national publications such as TIME, Sports Illustrated, LA Times, The San Diego Union and LIFE Magazine.
With over 50 years of experience, Thom has worked as a Staff Photographer/Picture Editor for United Press International in Europe, where he honed his skills covering several news events such as the European Soccer Championships, Belgium Grand Prix, NATO/Common Market meetings in Brussels, Belgium and the Spanish King and Queen’s visit to Luxembourg.
Thom Vollenweider has won numerous awards including “Best of Show” and the “People’s Choice Award”, both in the same year from the Del Mar Fair 1994
