Your tablets and smartphones can be a game changer in leveling up your skills and getting you to the finish line on your next masterpiece!
Learn how digital media tools can enhance and streamline your traditional art practice—whether you work in realism or abstraction. We go over how to incorporate these tools into your creative process, from concept development to final presentation.
Topics covered:
- Comparing sketches and layouts to reference photos to check for accuracy
- Quickly changing color schemes in order to experiment with colors and their emotional impact
- Easily adjusting compositions and layouts to find what works best for your vision
- Using digital media to prototype new ideas, generate variations, or create entirely new pieces inspired by your traditional practice.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a toolkit of digital skills to expand your artistic practice and bring new dimensions to your creative vision.

- a smartphone and tablet (iPad preferred, but others will work), along with an Apple Pencil or stylus
