About this Event
Experience Japanese calligraphy beyond words.
Discover the art of ma—the mindful use of empty space—and learn how it shapes balance, composition, and visual expression.
Using traditional brushes, rollers, wide brushes, and natural materials, you will create your own bokushō (abstract ink art). Explore how lines, textures, and space can communicate meaning beyond written characters and reveal your unique artistic voice.
In Japanese aesthetics, even what is left unwritten holds power. Through simplicity and silence, discover how space itself can transform your artwork.
Date: March 14, 2026

*All materials needed for the workshop—such as calligraphy paper, brushes, and ink—are included in the participation fee.
