SHLUMP BIO:
Michael Petzel aka Shlump grew up in California’s Bay Area, learning the guitar at age 9 and falling in love with music at first through the energy of metal and punk. Developing a taste for electronic music in high school via Apex Twin, Squarepusher, and Warp Records, he began to jump into music production, combining drum loops with recordings of his guitar. After being blown away the sub bass in his intro to dubstep, Coki and Cluekid’s “Sensi Dub”, and experiencing his first west coast electronic music festivals, Michael’s love for bass music bloomed and he began to to develop his signature sounds as he dedicated himself to his music career.

CAM STEEN BIO:
Cam Steen is a quarter-century-wise San Diego-based multi-instrumentalist-producer DJ bringing throwdown bass, zesty guitar licks, and tranquil handpan to acquisitive ears. Cam’s musical quest began by way of guitar at nine years old, forced upon by Mom. After shredding metal licks for ten years, a curiosity for jazz, funk, classical, indie, and electronic music arose, which led to becoming a member in various bands playing guitar and drums. Cam realized playing/making music was the ultimate sauce, and being able to reliably live in the sauce required a solo project and music production skills. During this process, an increasing love for electronic music festivals began to blossom, and the discovery of the handpan became a new obsession. Cam attempts to blend these elements, taking inspiration from artists like Morillo, Evan Hatfield, Chmura, Ooga, Kabecao, and many others to create unique instrument-driven electronic music tracks
