About this Event
Our Rotary Club event at Tapestry Hall in Cambridge will bring the community together to raise awareness about human trafficking and highlight the importance of education, prevention, and action. The evening will feature guest speakers who will share insight, experience, and perspective on the realities of human trafficking, helping attendees better understand how this issue affects people locally and beyond.
The goal of the event is to create a meaningful space for conversation and learning. By hearing from knowledgeable speakers, guests will gain a clearer picture of the warning signs, the impact on victims and families, and the role that community members can play in recognizing and responding to this crisis. The program is designed to inform, engage, and inspire action.
In addition to the speakers, such as ; Katarina MacLeod, Danielle Chulry, Waterloo Regional Police , Victim Services and MPP Jess Dixon and, a live musical performance by Local Artist Natalia Zuk- the event will offer an opportunity for Rotary members, community leaders, and attendees to connect with one another around a shared commitment to making a difference. It will be an evening focused on awareness, compassion, and community responsibility. Through open discussion and shared knowledge, the event aims to encourage stronger local support for efforts that help protect vulnerable people and prevent exploitation.
