About this Event
This year’s global theme, “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” serves as the perfect backdrop for celebrating the transformative power of the Fired Arts to bridge divides, ignite wonder across generations, and serve as a medium for social connection and shared expression. Join us for a full day of fun and community building from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm!
Our celebration centers on a spirit of solidarity, embodied locally through our collaboration with renowned artist Chelsea Rousso and her initiatives Unity in the Community and Amulets of Light. Supported by grants from the Broward County Cultural Division, now celebrating 50 Years and Forward, Chelsea’s workshops turned community members into creators, allowing them to find their artistic spirit through fused glass. Chelsea will be at WMODA throughout the day to talk about her projects and say farewell to the Amulets of Light exhibit, which closes on May 17.
