Join us in the mushroom yard to learn how to grow culinary mushrooms outdoors on logs using basic tools with Head Farmer Brendan Sinclair.Participants will take part in preparing logs for growing and harvesting mushrooms, including inoculating logs with shiitake mushroom spawn. By the end of the class, students will take home a shiitake log they’ve prepared and leave with the confidence to grow mushrooms in their own backyard.
