About this Event
Cas is 22-years-old, lives with his best mates, wears Christmas socks in July, and has strong opinions about how much butter you should put on a crumpet. He wants to be an actor, he plays drag bingo every week, and he aspires to marry Robin Hood. He’s also transgender. Self-Made Man offers an insight into his life so far, as he navigates the world with the added challenge of his inside not matching the out.
This is an autobiographical solo show about growing up as a transgender person, set to an eclectic soundtrack. It deals in darkness and comedy as I try to put forth the most authentic telling of my experiences.
