Shifting Forms Symposium
We're excited to invite you to Shifting Forms - A Symposium of Indigenous Moving Image Art and Animation. SHIFTING FORMS is a FREE three-day gathering foregrounding the perspectives of Indigenous storytellers working in Animation, Interactive and Media-based art forms.
The event will be held @ Emily Carr University from Friday, April 11th - Sunday April 13th 2025. The gathering will bring together an exciting lineup of digital knowledge keepers to share viewpoints via a screening of animations, panel discussions, keynote speakers, art installations, workshops, and a VR station.
Registration for Shifting Forms Symposium day passes and workshop spots will be available on Sunday March 30th at Noon PT! All symposium events are FREE with registration. Event site www.shiftingforms.ca will go live at this time.
PASSES/REGISTRATION INFO:
SHIFTING FORMS will provide a day pass for each day of the symposium. Day Passes provide access to a variety of exciting offerings during this free, three-day gathering. With a Day Pass, you will enjoy a provided light breakfast, lunch, as well as full access to the Symposium screening, panel talks and the art exhibit thought out the day.
Please Note:
** A separate day pass is required for each day of attendance.
** workshops and special events are FREE with limited spaces and require separate registration from day passes. Day passes, workshop passes and any other events are all FREE with registration until capacity is reached.
