Alice and Owen met online, fell in love, and built a life together.

Then Owen is accused of rape.

Via an anonymous instagram account, Alice receives a message warning her that her boyfriend is a rapist. As their life spirals outwards, Alice and Owen dive into an autopsy of their relationship.

Faced with an accusation and a decision to make, Ordinary Sex questions intimacy, violation, and the line between the two.

Join award-winning theatre company, I AM I AM, at this work-in-progress sharing of Ordinary Sex. The company is looking to share this new work with collaborators, theatre makers and audiences alike at this crucial stage of development.

Trigger warnings: in-depth discussion on rape, intimate partner violence, and child abuse.
