Camberwell Life Drawing & Drawing Cabaret Couture are proud to present our FIRST collaboration!
We'll bring to the DCC studio a SHIBARI Life Drawing experience like none we've done before! Our artists vision is for something visually captivating... think webs...self suspension...2 models and amazing interactive shapes.
SHIBARI is a Japanese style of bondage which involves tying a person using visually intricate patterns, usually with several pieces of thin rope, but for this class we will break away from the rules of classic bondage into SHIBARI as visually artistic expression, which will be a joy to draw! Adding new interesting challenges while drawing the figures. As well as the beautiful shapes created for you to draw, we will have the chance to enjoy the short performance of the tying itself.

We will have a series of short poses that will vary from 10min up to 20min
This colab class is artist led, with considered set design, lighting, and soundtracks to indulge the senses in a 2hr window of escapism. Materials & boards provided. All people of the earth are welcome - brand new to drawing or well-practiced, come and share this one of a kind life drawing experience.
