Shelter House's 2026 Book Sale will be held Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, 2026. Every bargain-hunting bibliophile's favorite two-day event will take place from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM both days at 860 Quarry Road in Coralville.
Each year, Shelter House transforms the Old Antique Car Museum in Coralville into a wonderland of books—full of adventure, curiosity, and mystery—during our much-loved Book Sale. Over 50,000 gently used books and media, donated by generous community members, are priced at just a few dollars each. Every purchase supports Shelter House’s lifesaving work in our community.
