We are so happy to have photographer Patti Blake leading two astrophotography adventures to Shell Island this summer! (The first is on August 8, and the second is September 5.)On this nighttime adventure, you'll learn how to capture the stars with long exposure techniques, explore the shoreline together and experience the magic of the night sky.
This advanced Milky Way photography class includes a charter boat ride to and from the island, plus hands-on instruction from local astro-landscape photographer Patti Blake. You’ll need a camera, wide-angle lens, sturdy tripod and a sense of adventure!
As an advanced class, you should feel comfortable with using your camera in manual mode, and know how to focus your lens to infinity.
*Waterproof bags aren’t required but they’re helpful. Shoes that can get a little wet are a good idea.
Saturday night, 7:30pm - 11:30pm, $250
