Shelf are a comedy double act, formed in 2015 by lifelong friends Rachel WD and Ruby Clyde. Following critical acclaim on the alternative comedy scene, Shelf started adapting their material into family friendly comedy for audiences of all ages. Today, Shelf are regular writers for the Amazing World of Gumball and May 2026 will also see the release of their first kids’ book series. As award winning children’s performers, Shelf have been resident artists at Great Ormond Street Hospital, regular performers with Comedy Club 4 Kids, created bespoke content for GirlGuides UK, run accessible workshops for The Southbank Centre, and more.
