Join SheJumps, Danner, and REI for a group hike in Portland’s Forest Park in celebration of community!This hike is open to all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people. New and experienced hikers are all welcome! Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian throughout the entire event. Please leave your pets at home for this event.
In addition to the group hike, Danner is generously making a donation to SheJumps to further our mission of increasing the participation of women and girls in the outdoors. To celebrate the release of the Danner Inquire Mid boot in an exclusive colorway at REI on October 1st, all participants will receive gifts from Danner and REI and be entered into a drawing for a pair of Danner boots!

Details: We will meet at the Pittock Mansion Parking lot between 4:45-5:00pm, and the hike will depart at 5:00pm. Depending on how large the group is, we may split into smaller groups. We will be hiking the Pittock Mansion to Upper Macleay/Wildwood loop which is a 2.6 mile loop with approximately 490 feet of elevation gain.
What to Bring: Bring plenty of water and snacks, layers that you can shed or add if needed, shoes suitable for hiking on a dirt trail, a rain jacket, any life-saving medications (SheJumps will bring a basic first aid kit), and any other hiking gear you need to be comfortable.

Parking and getting to the event: There is metered parking available at the Pittock Mansion. Public transportation options are also available via the Portland MAX or city bus.
Facility information: there are gender neutral restrooms available at the trailhead.
Accessibility information: this is not an ADA trail. The trail surface will consist of gravel and dirt with roots and rocks.
To find us day-of, look for: our SheJumps volunteers at the Pittock Mansion parking lot with SheJumps signs and/or flags to check in.
We want to support all participants in enjoying this event to the fullest. Please let us know if you have any accommodation requests ahead of the event or during checkout and we will provide accommodations as we are able to.

Cancellation Policy
Since this is a free event to register for, participants may cancel at anytime in their Eventbrite account. Its preferrable if participants cancel at least 7 days ahead of the event to give us adequate time to fill the open spot. Optional donations made during checkout won't be refunded.
