Rise Together, Climb For Change.
are about more than summits. They are about courage, connection, and climbing for a cause. With expert women guides and the support of teammates, women come together to take on big mountains-lifting one another every step of the way.
These climbs challenge you physically, mentally, and emotionally, while raising vital funds to support the SheJumps mission. From your very first donation to your final steps off the mountain, you will be part of the Girafficorn community-proving just how powerful women can be when we rise together.
ABOUT THE CLIMB
Mout Shasta (Waka-nunee-Tuki-wuki) is the second highest volcano in the United States and a major peak of the Cascade range and Pacific Ring of Fire. This magnificent mountain rises to 14,179 feet, and its base is more than 17 miles in diameter. With a volume of over 90 cubic miles, Mount Shasta is the largest mountain in the lower 48 USA. Climbing to the top of Mount Shasta offers a powerful challenge with no easy routes to the top, making it perfect for a thrilling three-day ski/board adventure filled with skill-building and demanding summit experiences.
On Day One, we set up basecamp and dive into snow school, mastering essential techniques like transceiver use, ice ax and crampon skills, and rope travel. Day Two starts with a hearty breakfast, followed by a ski/splitboard tour to refine your skills and assess snow conditions. After a detailed briefing and early bedtime, you’ll be ready for Day Three’s alpine start and a demanding summit climb with a 6,000’ elevation gain over five miles. The group will conclude the adventure by choosing between the West Face route or Avalanche Gulch for the descent based on snow and weather conditions.
