She Rises: Surviving to Thriving
She Rises: Surviving to Thriving is a bold and powerful one-day event centered on real stories, resilience, and transformation. Hosted by Hope’s 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary and led by Executive Director Haley McLean, this experience brings together five courageous women who have overcome cancer, domestic violence, and personal struggles, and are now thriving in their careers, communities, and lives.
Designed with high school seniors and college women in mind, but open to all, She Rises creates a space where honesty meets empowerment. Each speaker will share their journey of survival, followed by how they moved beyond those challenges to build strong, successful futures. These stories offer both awareness of real-life risks and tangible inspiration for what is possible on the other side of adversity.
The event will conclude with an interactive audience Q&A panel, followed by a lighthearted comedic routine to end the day on an uplifting and energizing note. Attendees will also enjoy snacks and beverages, along with the opportunity to connect with vendors offering supportive resources, services, and products.
She Rises is more than an event; it’s a call to step forward with confidence, courage, and belief in your future.
