Women’s Networking Circle - March Gathering
There is something powerful that happens when women gather with intention.
She Rises South isn’t just networking. It’s a circle. A space where business, life, motherhood, creativity, exhaustion, ambition and vulnerability are all allowed to sit side by side. Where we don’t have to pretend we’ve “figured it out.” Where we can be both strong and soft.
Each gathering is designed to feel spacious yet purposeful, a place to reflect, share honestly, receive support, and gently move forward with more clarity and confidence.
This month we continue the conversation around International Women’s Day and the 2026 theme: Balancing the Scales. Not in a performative way. Not in a “have it all together” way. But in a real, lived, everyday way.

Date: Wednesday, 19 March
Time: 9:00am
Location: The Hayshed Handasydes, Albany
(The Hayshed is inside, through the tables towards the back near the hay bales.)
Arrive from 9:00am, grab yourself a coffee or drink, settle in, say hello and find your seat.
Gathering Flow
9:10am – Small Group Check-In (20 mins)
We’ll break into small groups to create space for everyone to speak.
Each woman will share:
• One win (even if it feels small)
• One thing you’d love support with, or a current challenge
9:30am – Monthly Topic: Balancing the Scales: Continuing the International Women’s Day conversation, we’ll reflect on:
• One way you can better balance the scales in your own life
• One way we can contribute to balancing the scales within our community
You’ll have space to write your thoughts privately. A couple of women may choose to share reflections with the group.
10:00am – ‘In the Circle’
One woman will step forward (not literally in the centre, just metaphorically) to flesh out a new project idea or unpack a current issue. The group will offer insight, suggestions and support.
***If you would like to be “in the circle” this month, please contact me prior to the gathering to allocate yourself.
10:30am onwards – Gentle Networking
Any remaining time will be open for relaxed connection, deeper chats, or for those who need to head off.
This structure has been shaped by your feedback, to honour our time, keep things flowing, and still maintain the warmth and openness that makes this circle what it is.
As always, this is our group. We grow and rise together.
