Join us for an unforgettable evening of empowerment, healing, and community at Christ Church, Newham URC, as we come together to support Sistah Space, a vital organisation dedicated to supporting women of African and Caribbean heritage affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse.

This is more than just an event, it's a celebration of resilience and a call to action. Your presence, your voice, and your contributions will help reignite hope and provide essential support to Black women and families in crisis.

The event is being hosted by Nayana Mena, a multimedia journalist from East London, proudly representing Jamaica in Miss Caribbean UK 2025. I'm passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and using storytelling as a tool for healing and change. Through my work in media and my involvement with youth and community groups, I aim to uplift and empower those who need it most.

I'm fundraising for Sistah Space because their work has never been more urgent. As a survivor of domestic abuse and coercive control, I know first-hand the importance of culturally specific, trauma-informed support and that's exactly what Sistah Space has been providing for 10 years.

This event is part of my Miss Caribbean UK platform, where I’m using my voice to raise awareness, celebrate culture, and champion real change.
