CUNY Dance Initiative/PASS artist in residence Kyle Marshall of Kyle Marshall Choreography will present ChoreoLab, a program of the Snug Harbor Dance Festival, geared toward dance and the creative process. Bring new material, ideas, questions, and an open mind to the floor. We will move through a collective warm-up, exercises to generate creativity and dialogue around each other’s work, and share an open space to connect with one another.WHEN: May 19 | 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Founded in 2014, Kyle Marshall Choreography (KMC) is a company that sees the dancing body as a container of history, an igniter of social reform, and a site of celebration. KMC has performed at venues throughout the NYC area including: Chelsea Factory, BAM Next Wave Festival, Joe’s Pub, The Shed, Roulette, Abrons Arts Center, Bickford Theater/Morris Museum and the Entertainment Community Fund Arts Center.
