Shaun Brazell (SHAUNB) is an R&B vocalist and instrumentalist who captures the elements of R&B, Gospel and Soul through his music. He was born in Lubbock Texas and at an early age he traveled the world stage while his father served in the United States Air Force. As a result, his musical endeavors were sparked. He began his journey starting as a drummer in Oxford, England. Unlike most artists Shaun Brazell had the hunger and discipline to learn multiple instruments and naturally play them proficiently. Shaun Brazell’s early world travels, youthful experience, and influence from his father and church were the catalyst to his musical being as an artist, songwriter and musician of today.
Deeply rooted in church in Boise, Idaho, as the son of a preacher man, Shaun Brazell’s early childhood was amplified by touring locally with a children’s singing gospel group called “FOCUS.” Shaun Brazell’s contribution to the gospel community was received and celebrated by his fans in Boise, Idaho and worldwide. The recordings of his Christian album entitled “Sanctuary!” quickly became a hit amongst churches and praise teams abroad, receiving endorsements from Idaho Statesman, musicians and praise teams. He was called the “overall package and versatile gifted child of God.”
Now residing in the greater Long Beach, California area, Shaun Brazell has worked his way upward and has assembled quite a large fan base through his live performances at Harvelle’s Long Beach and The House of Blues Sunset to name a couple. He has gained traction and the respect of artists and musicians alike, who have one thing to say about him, “true talent and showmanship.”

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please call the Riverside Hotel front desk at 208-343-1871. The Sapphire Getaway rate is subject to availability and blackout dates. It will not be available for every show.
