as most of you know on 15th June 1980(father's day),we lost shaun and Ian in a tragic accident,15th June 2025 marks 45 years,also 15th June falls on fathers day again,so we will do a memorial ride that day,me and julie(shauns sister) will be on the bike, with Caroline and hopefully Tracy as well ,following the ride as lead escort vehicles,hopefully most of you still riding can join us for this,hopefully some of ians family as well,maybe we could all stop for a drink together during or at end of ride,
details will be added once route etc has been finalised,
I realise it's fathers day but hopefully everyone can plan around family commitments to join us
meet at 11 am at Tesco car park at crooksfoot Ashford,aim to leave at 11.30am,head down hythe road past Allan Martins house,then turn left on station road,past bottom of high street and stour centre turnings,left after station past the outlet centre then onto the old road to hamstreet,right at crossroads in hamstreet ,approx 3 miles left towards Appledore then left in Appledore then right onto military road towards rye,stop at scotts float for a group photo ,then onto rye bike park for ice cream or chips or both lol,
hopefully we can get more bikes on this than last year
