At its core, this is a space for poets to present, refine, and elevate their craft in real time. Each performer comes ready with intention, purpose, and passion—because they’re not just stepping on stage. They’re stepping into a process.
From the audience’s perspective, you can expect a full-scale show from start to finish. Every poet is selected and signed up in advance, no at-the-door signups, no random lineups, just intentional artistry, curated excellence, and a $200 cash prize on the line.
From the artist’s perspective, this is more than just a mic. You’ll receive:
• Footage of your performance
• Custom flyers to share your appearance
• Exclusive merch
• Live feedback from a Sharpener, a poet or professional dedicated to giving insight, not judgment.
