Please join us on the first anniversary of my mother's tragic passing in a vehicle-pedestrian collision as we get moving, grieve in community and remember Sharon's irreplaceable contributions to our community. Check back as more details will be forthcoming throughout the Spring.
****TENTATIVE SCHEDULE - RAIN OR SHINE****
9:00 a.m. PDST: Gather at the crash site (close to 25th, Parkway side obviously; look for photo and flowers)
9:30: Remarks from family and friends + moment of silence, followed by a gentle 1K run/walk in community
Runners and walkers may continue exercising at a pace and intensity (or lack thereof!) of their choice at any time, but the "official" pace will be VERY gentle to accommodate participants of all ages and abilities. (Wheelchair and mobility device users very welcome; route will include a segment on the paved path for this reason!)
QR codes for donations to the charitable causes Sharon loved will be available at the event, but links to Chamber Music Amici, SquareOne Community Villages and the Fanconi Cancer Foundation will also be available here soon (you're also welcome to Google them all and give them all your money now, later or just on a constant basis).
