Share Your Story! Workshop

"The shortest distance between two people is a story."
...And that's the motivation behind this Share Your Story! event at the Rock, Paper, Scissors Collective in Downtown Oakland!

You are invited by Paula Junn and RPSCollective. Paula will share her story, and lead us through a series of short interactive exercises to help us craft a true story from our respective lives, and then we'll each have a chance to share what we came up with.
Feeling shy? Don't worry, nobody will judge you. We're coming together to hear from each other, whatever comes out.
The theme for the upcoming story night is the Fire Within.
Have you ever had an experience that moved you to the point that it lit a fire inside of you? It could have been from connecting with someone else's pain that it led you to speak up for them. What was an experience you found your passion through?
Let's share our experiences through stories! The stories don't have to be funny at all, so there is no pressure there.

Bio:

Paula Junn, MFA (pronouns: she, her, hers) is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area, who works with stories, photography, and jewelry. She is a passionate community builder interested in fostering a sense of belonging.
