Join Dr. JP Foster for an evening of faith, truth, and transformative conversation as he discusses his powerful new book, The Gospel and My Black Skin. In conversation with Pastor Terry Mackey and Pastor Sherman Fort, this special book talk will explore the intersections of the Gospel, identity, race, justice, and hope through a deeply biblical and personal lens.

Hosted at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church on Thursday, June 11th from 6:30PM–8:30PM, this event will offer attendees an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, hear directly from Dr. Foster about the inspiration behind the book, and reflect on what it means to faithfully navigate faith and Black identity in today’s world.

Following the conversation, guests will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Foster during a special photo and book signing experience.

Dr. JP Foster serves as Senior Pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church in Southern California, where his dynamic biblical teaching and leadership have impacted thousands. He also serves as Ministry Affiliate Faculty at Biola University, teaching courses in Biblical Interpretation and Spiritual Formation. Through his ministry, scholarship, and community work, Dr. Foster is passionate about helping people build their lives on the foundation of God’s Word while engaging culture with wisdom, compassion, and truth.
