Save-the-Date!Join us on Tuesday, April 28th at noon in the KAB Auditorium for a free jazz concert by the Shapiro Project!
In celebration of International Jazz Day, the Shapiro Project led by guitarist/composer and Nevada State part-time faculty Eugene Shapiro will perform original compositions in styles ranging from traditional jazz to Latin jazz, and jazz-rock/fusion. International Jazz Day is an annual global event observed on April 30th to promote jazz and international cooperation. Established by UNESCO in 2011, chaired by Audrey Azoulay and Herbie Hancock, the event encompasses concerts, education, and social programs across almost 200 countries.
This concert is hosted by the Office for the Arts in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month and International Jazz Day on April 30th.
