There’s a passion within, but it needs structure, guidance.
Sonali Kohli, author of “Don’t Wait: Three Girls Who Fought For Change and Won” (Beacon Press, 2024) leads this interactive workshop to help youth define their cause and shape their voice & efforts towards actualizing change.
Bring a notebook & your ideas and leave with focus and intentionality.
Part 2. 4:30p - 6:00p
Open to families/caretakers of youth
How do we raise good kids? Responsible citizens? Happy humans?
Sonali Kolhatkar with Sonali Kohli as moderator (yes two Sonalis!) will address finding the balance between information and optimism. How do you raise youth to see truth and act responsibly, but not overwhelm them with the weight of it?
Kolhatkar produces & hosts the weekly program "Rising Up With Sonali"
(airs on Free Speech TV and various Pacifica affiliate community radio stations across the United States.)
