Timișoara stands at an important moment in its visitor economy journey.
Following extensive research, performance analysis, resident engagement and stakeholder interviews, an emerging direction has been developed for the city’s Destination Management & Marketing Plan (DMMP) 2025–2030.
This workshop is an opportunity to help shape and strengthen that direction before the draft plan is finalised.
This is not a presentation. It is an interactive working session.
What is a DMMP?
A Destination Management & Marketing Plan is:
- A framework for managing and developing tourism
- A shared direction for collaboration and investment
- A guide to improving visitor experience and long-term value for the city
It is not simply a marketing campaign or a list of projects.
What We Will Explore
During this half-day session, we will:
- Reflect on strengths and friction points in the current visitor experience
- Stress-test the emerging destination vision
- Explore key experience and product opportunities
- Examine where strategic focus should sit
- Clarify the realistic scope of the DMMP
- Consider collaboration and delivery roles
- Identify what visible progress could look like in 1–3 years
- Define what success might feel like in five years
