This conference brings together leading U.K. clinicians, researchers, and advocates to explore the latest evidence on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) and Long Covid. It highlights the importance of early, accurate diagnosis, patient safety, and translating research into practical, effective clinical pathways.
Designed for healthcare professionals, commissioners, policymakers, and the wider community, who value safe care approaches, and evidence-based service planning.
Why This Matters:
For people with M.E. and Long Covid, early understanding and appropriate care can greatly improve quality of life and long-term wellbeing. Delayed or misaligned care can worsen illness, cause harm, and place strain on both patients and services.
" Covid is new but the phenomenon of viruses causing long-term disability, is not new." Professor Deepa Mann-Kler , Director & Producer of 'Discover M.E.' film.
