On behalf of C-TRIC, we are delighted to share with you that TMED 11 makes a welcome return on 17th and 18th September 2026.
About this Event

TMED11 will be held in the historic Guildhall in Derry-Londonderry. This represents the 11th TMED, continuing to be a leading international translational medicine conference focusing on personalised medicine. It continues to unite leading academic and clinical researchers and innovation industry partners from the life and health sciences sector.

This year TMED11 aims to ask how we can help shape future healthcare through two key themes. The first involves the expansion of and access to Clinical Research Studies for our citizens both locally and across the region. TMED11 will showcase a new regional initiative where we are “Going Mobile with Research” to provide the opportunity for every citizen to take part in research particularly in “hard to reach communities”.

Secondly TMED11 will present the highly novel field of Pharmacogenomics highlighting the concept of personalised prescribing for patients. In this growing field of “Precision Prescribing” we will hear from key opinion leaders in Pharmacogenomics from the UK and Europe. They will explain how our own genetics influences our responses to many of the most commonly prescribed medications.

Finally, during the Gala dinner, you will have the opportunity to hear about the Derry City and Strabane District City Growth Deal showcasing regional development, and highlighting the opportunities to collaborate and deliver impact.

We hope you can join us for TMED11.
