About this Event

We're excited to be bringing "Shanna in a Dress" to Nyland Community! She is on tour and we are one of her stops, April 7th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Suggested donation is $20 (no one turned away for lack of funds).

Shanna is a quirky singer-songwriter who will make you laugh, cry, and cry from laughing throughout her show. She is your quirky best friend who refuses to wear pants. She says what everyone has felt but no one else will say and you'll get an uncensored journey of clever humor and heartbreak, extreme candor, and a hefty side of entertainment at her shows. This witty wordsmith is known for taking you on an emotional roller coaster, sometimes within the same song. Think John Prine mixed with Ingrid Michaelson with a twist of Phoebe Buffay from Friends all wrapped up in a sweet voice accented by guitar, piano, and ukulele. She's as real as it gets, as anyone who follows her on FB or Instagram knows.

Doors 6:00pm. Brief opening set by members of Pro Audio

Logistics:

Park in the main lot, or parallel park heading back down Nyland Way. The common house is the big building right at the end of the Nyland Way turn-around circle. Event is on the middle floor of the common house (up the first set of stairs).
