From Master Shaman Victoria Carella:

Description of Sacred Shamanic Cannabis Ceremony

I focus my work on authentic disciplines of shamanism. When a person participates in my ceremony, they enter sacred space. As a Master Shaman, I guide people into shamanic states of consciousness to connect to their true selves, their Origin Consciousness, as I take ceremonial participants on the journey of healing and transformation. Participants receive the gift of Medicine. I take them on a journey of pure consciousness, entering levels not accessible elsewhere.

I use the Sacred Teacher Medicine Plant Cannabis. This is not about getting high. Cannabis ceremonies are doorways to authentic spiritual and mystical experiences. There is immense shamanic power held in Cannabis that can only be accessed through ceremonies in which participants are safely guided through elevated states of consciousness and a tremendous transformational experience. The ceremonial use of shamanic Cannabis guides us to direct spiritual connection and communion.

The ceremonies are held in the evening. The ceremonial space is kept dark during ceremony to reduce distractions. All participants sit during ceremony. The ceremonies are not sing along/play along ceremonies (don't bring an instrument). Pets/animals are not allowed.

Ground Rules

The day before ceremony, on the day of ceremony, and the day after ceremony, there are some non-negotiable ground rules: no alcohol; no eating of animal flesh including fish; no sex including kissing and self pleasuring; no use of nicotine or snuff; no use of any other Teacher Medicine Plants, nor any use of bufo toad and kambo medicines, no ketamine, or any other entheogenic/psychedelic medicines; no microdosing; no use of drugs; no wearing of fragrances; no smoking/chewing of mapacho or tobacco. Phones are turned off during and after the ceremony and are not kept on person. Watches are not worn. Persons under 18 years of age are not allowed. Participants must stay in town for there is no long distance driving after the ceremony. There are no sleeping facilities at my shamanic center. The ground rules are for the safety and protection of participants.

It is recommended that participants do not use any Teacher Medicine Plants including Cannabis, nor any bufo toad, kambo, ketamin, or other entheogenic/psychedelic medicines, mapacho, tobacco, nicotine, snuff, or microdosing, or alcohol, or engage in sex including kissing and self pleasuring, a week prior to ceremony so that Medicines and energies are not mixed.

It is also recommended that participants do not use any Teacher Medicine Plants including Cannabis, nor any bufo toad, kambo, ketamine, or other entheogenic/psychedelic medicines, mapacho, tobacco, nicotine, snuff, or microdosing, or alcohol, or engage in sex including kissing and self pleasuring, a week after ceremony to give time for participants to fully integrate the ceremonial experience without mixing Medicines and energies.

Dress casual in comfortable clothing for the ceremony.

Ceremony

In ceremony, I use the Sacred Teacher Medicine Plant Cannabis. Used as it has been for millennia as a Sacred Teacher Medicine Plant in ceremonial context and with the respect it is due, Cannabis is an extremely powerful healing and transformational Medicine Plant. Cannabis is a holistic Medicine plant. It treats the body, emotions, imagination, mind, soul, spirit, and consciousness.

A vaporizer is used. Only the natural Cannabis flower is used. The ceremonies last around two to three hours. They may go longer. They are held indoors in the evening in a wonderful ceremonial space. Bottled water is provided. Participants arrive about half an hour prior to the ceremony to give us time to talk, ask questions, and relax.

There are refreshments after ceremony in a relaxed atmosphere that allows for discussion and sharing. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions (e.g. gluten free, non-dairy).

I use various instruments: the shakapa (a traditional Amazonian shamanic leaf rattle), rattle, drum, steel tongue drum, gong, chimes, clear crystal singing bowl, and ancient medicine singing bowls. I sing sacred Icaros which are the communication between myself and the Medicine Spirits which direct the shamanic journey and the geometry of the ceremonial Medicine Space. The ceremonies are intense and beautiful explorations of consciousness. I hold the space in Divine Love, Light, Wisdom, Medicine, and Endless Beauty which allows for gentle cleansing, healing, straightening of energies, expansion of consciousness, and transformation.

A week after ceremony, I will send a follow-up text or email to check on how the ceremony integration process is going for participants.

Bio

I am a mystic, Master Shaman, visionary leader, transformational teacher, poet, artist, and author.

My work in mysticism, consciousness and shamanism has taken me from the American Southwest to the jungles of Mexico, to Europe, to Mongolia, to Egypt, Greece and Tunisia, and to Peru and the Peruvian Amazon. A seer had foretold that I would be a shamanic apprentice, complete my apprenticeship, and become a Master Shaman.

I apprenticed in Ayahuasca Shamanism in the Peruvian Amazon and Cannabis Shamanism in the eminent and legendary lineage of Don Julio and Don Alberto. My apprenticeship was long and arduous, ending with me going through my actual physical death to be reborn in my newly given Shaman's body and given the title Master Shaman. I was a Shaman at a major ayahuasca retreat center in the Peruvian Amazon before establishing my own shamanic retreat center, The Mother Eagle Shamanic Center, in Arizona. I focus my work on authentic disciplines of shamanism.

Having been given the title Master Shaman, I guide people into shamanic states of consciousness to connect to their true selves as I take them on the journey of healing and transformation. I work with the sacred Teacher Medicine Plant Cannabis. I have transformed Cannabis shamanism into an accessible spiritual practice.

I only practice Cannabis shamanism in states and countries that have made the medical and/or recreational use of cannabis legal. I am a master shamanic guide for those that wish to use Cannabis in a ceremonial setting.

I have written a book titled "Journeys An Exploration of Being". This is a poetry book about an exploration of being. It is an exploration of consciousness. It is a journey, one insight, into what it means to be a fully aware being. Journeys is truly a movement through time and space of an individual and her spectrum of consciousness, insight and growth. The author shares her most intimate journeys for those who are also willing to take the plunge into that Great Journey. All done through the elegance of poetry, of rhyme.
