Please join us as we bid farewell to Danny Caine--poet, writer, activist, anthropologist of suburbia and modern Jewish-American identities, fast-food connoisseur, and former Raven Bookstore owner. In his time in Lawrence, Danny has profoundly altered the cultural identity of our city and has shown us what good citizenship looks like. Although he will be in his homestate of Ohio on a more permanent basis, perhaps our carrying forward of his spirit will inspire a return visit in the future.
