SHAKTI RISING

We come from a generation of mothers who were taught that their Shakti is everywhere but within, conditioned to bow down in temples but ignore the altar that is their body. They've been outcasted because their sacred nature isn't convenient for society.

Pre-colonial times our ancestors lived in a matriachal society: respecting, worshipping and honouring the Shakti within ALL women.

It is time for us to revive and reclaim our ancient feminine wisdom and rise in our Shakti.

SHAKTI RISING:

• Explore & learn about ancient Indian rituals & traditions centred around feminine power
• Understand the concept & roots of Shakti beyond patriarchy, colonialism & religious dogma
• Explore the archetypes of Shakti & the disconnection our culture has created between women & deities
• Embodiment of Shakti through opening up the Vishuddha chakra & expression through sacred dance
+ a surprise ceremony at the end 🌹
