About this Event
‘I love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.’
Love, deception and discord are flourishing in the court of Messina.
Sweet, innocent Hero and the famed soldier Claudio are immediately infatuated, while the bickering Beatrice and Benedick can agree on just one thing: the other is insufferable. Little do they know, two plans are afoot – one to make Beatrice and Benedick fall in love, another to break up Hero and Claudio.
Staged at Central Deborah Gold Mine in and around the charmingly rustic Panning Shed, Uncertain Curtain Theatre's production of Much Ado About Nothing combines Shakespeare's creative genius with Bendigo's golden heritage.
Much Ado About Nothing is approximately 2 hours long with a 20 minute interval.
Performances take place both inside the Panning Shed and outside by the creek. We highly recommend checking the weather beforehand and dressing appropriately. If it rains, the entire performance will take place in the Panning Shed.
Entrance to Central Deborah Gold Mine is via Gate 3 on Creek Street (there will be signs to show you the way). There is free, on-street parking available on Creek Street.
Performances are wheelchair accessible and sensory friendly. If you have any concerns about accessibility, or if require a Social Story to help you prepare for the event, please contact us at [email protected]
