Learn, prepare and perform Shakespeare's Macbeth, all in a week!Shakespeare Summer Club 2024
All The World’s A Stage – Macbeth
A spooky story of witchy prophecies, ambition and guilt…prepare to be thrilled!
The Shakespeare Summer Club returns to Seven Stories for its second year with the classic tragedy Macbeth.
Following a ‘play in a week’ format, with session taking place on weekdays from 10am-4pm, participants will explore elements of theatre including writing, set and costume design and directing. Participants will develop confidence and a love of stories alongside building supportive relationships within a safe and supportive environment as they work (and play!) towards an informal production for the family and friends on Friday 3pm in our magical Attic space.
Through an accessible exploration of vivid imagery and poetic language in Shakespeare’s work, our creative team will empower children and young people to vocalise their thoughts confidently, reflect critically and engage creatively.
Monday 22nd July – Friday 26th July
Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August
