Tyneside and Northumberland Mind are taking over the Clarty Bairns 3km obstacle course at Hedley West Farm, Opposite Tanfield Lea Railway, Newcastle, NE16 5ET for an afternoon of messy, muddy fun.
Starting at 2:30pm you’ll be launched into an epic afternoon of chaos on the Clarty Bairns Obstacle Course. 3km of muddy hills, water pits, tree carved ladders and forest routes at the Hedley West Farm. We recommend you dress in your oldest of clothing and prepare for lots of mess. There’s even a tree of discarded shoes at the very end!
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, or an ambitious walker, you’ll manage the Clarty Bairns course. You’ll even get a bath at the end, courtesy of the tubing slide-get ready to get wet! We can’t promise sunshine, but we can promise an afternoon of family fun.
Great for groups, families, individuals, work colleagues, friends, children and adults, anyone from age 5 to 80 can join in and have a great fun time.

Your ticket purchase includes exclusive access to the Clarty Bairns course, a finishing medal and certificate you can proudly share. Ticket cost covers admission however any fundraising you do as part of your participation would be very appreciated and will go towards supporting the mental wellbeing of our community.
