*SunCrest Residents Only*Grassroots Shakespeare is back for another fun and free evening of Shakespeare in the Park in the SunCrest Village Green!
Grassroots Shakespeare's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream was created using original practice methods native to Shakespeare's time. This means the entire show is collaboratively staged by just five actors playing all parts, with no fourth wall between actor and audience. In our production, you will see the actors address you—the audience—directly, and responses are expected and welcome! Live music and sound effects accompany the performance, as well as a jig at the end of the show, just like in Shakespeare's time!
This is a perfect evening for everyone to enjoy. Please bring your blankets and lawn chairs to get comfortable and settle in for a truly memorable performance. Please note that there will be a pre-show performance from 6 to 6:30, and the main show will start at 6:30!
