Picture it: The summer of 1970, a psychedelic bus pulling over on the open road, and a community built around music, art, and freedom. That's the spirit of Shakedown Street — and we're bringing it to North Water Street in Kent.
Shakedown V.2 is a full-day indoor festival inspired by the legendary marketplace that grew up around Grateful Dead concert culture.
From noon until 11 PM, SRCA fills with vendors, artists, live music, food, and community.
Vendors & Artists: The Serendipitous Find · Tarot by Dawn · Sundancer by Laurie · Northern Ohio Deadheads · Hippie Fox Rocks · Standing Stone Care Collective (vegan kitchen!) · Roll Call Food Truck (across the street at Bent Tree Coffee)

🥁 Drum Circle with Virginia Lynn King — 1–2 PM
🎸 Open Jam with Jim Zeller — 2–4 PM
🎵 The Squatch Doctors — 4–6 PM
🎵 Sunset Drive — 7–9 PM
🎵 Brown Brothers — 9–11 PM
Plus sidewalk chalk art, children's activities, and the goal of turning all of North Water Street into a true Shakedown corridor — music spilling out the doors, vendors on the sidewalks, neighbors joining in.
