Shake&Pop brings Shakespeare’s most beloved comedy to life with a wildly reimagined, inclusive staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set in the fictional town of Athens, Oregon, where tradition rules and “Father knows best,” Shake&Pop’s Midsummer explores what happens when the next generation decides to write its own rules. Just beyond the city limits lies a forest untouched by control. A place where fairies meddle, lovers seek solace, and magic reigns.
Performances run October 2–25, every Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM, at the historic Samaritan Odd Fellows Lodge in Milwaukie. Thursday, October 2, 2025 will be a sliding scale preview performance. All other Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or online.
