Ffern Artist Daisy Gray is returning to 23 Beak Street to run two natural dyeing workshops, celebrating the return of spring and the launch of our latest fragrance, Spring 24. Due to popular demand, we are offering two dates for this workshop. These will be held on the evening of Thursday 11th April and the morning of Sunday 14th April at Ffern, 23 Beak Street, London. Each will last about 2.5 - 3 hours.
In the peaceful surroundings of our Beak Street store, Daisy will take you through a practical introduction to natural dyeing, using her expert knowledge of creating colour palettes from plants, roots, flowers and bark. Inspired by Ffern's Spring 24 scent, you will use rhubarb and other organic materials to create a palette of pinks.
Daisy will guide you through the key steps to make a simple dye vat at home, and you'll take home a sample book and silk ribbon.
Key information:
We will provide all the necessary materials for your creation, as well as drinks and snacks for everyone. Tickets are £75 to cover materials and costs. Spaces are limited, so don’t hesitate to reserve your place!
By booking your ticket you accept that what you are wearing may become stained, and that you will be responsible for your own safety around the hot dyes. We will provide aprons - but please don’t wear your most treasured clothes!

Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend, even up until the last minute - this is courteous to our artists as well as potentially allowing someone else to attend. We are unable to refund your ticket if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop’s start time.
